Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2720209A1] The hazard detector (1) has a digital temperature sensor (3) that is attached in or on a detector housing (2), for largely detecting temperature in the vicinity of detector in non-directional manner. An evaluation unit (4) is provided for evaluating the detected ambient temperature. The temperature sensor is arranged on an inner side (IS) of the detector housing, and is connected with the evaluation unit over a connection line (5) for data processing. The connection line is arranged away from the centrally-mounted temperature sensor to the evaluation unit.
