[origin: WO2012171580A1] The invention relates to a sweeping vehicle comprising a disk brush (26) for sweeping dirt off a floor surface (11) to be cleaned, said disk brush (26) having a brush disk (88) with brushes (90) held thereon and being drivable so as to rotate about an axis of rotation (86). The sweeping vehicle further comprises a holding device (46) for holding the disk brush (26), said holding device (46) having a holding element (54) and a holding arm (56) which is pivotally connected thereto. The holding device (46) is held on the sweeping vehicle (10) by means of the holding element (54) and the disk brush (26) is held on the holding arm (56). The sweeping vehicle further comprises an adjuster (94) having an adjusting unit (96) acting upon the holding arm (56) and being variable in length. The holding arm (56) can be pivoted relative to the holding element (54) depending on a variation in length of the adjusting unit (96), for lowering or lifting the disk brush (26). The aim of the invention is to improve said sweeping vehicle such that the contact area of the disk brush can be varied in a constructively easy manner. According to the invention, the holding device (46) comprises a brush support (80) that is pivotally mounted on the holding arm (56) and that holds the disk brush (26). The sweeping vehicle (10) comprises a coupling device (122) for coupling the brush support (80) to the adjuster (94), the brush support (80) being pivoted relative to the holding arm (56) depending on a variation in length of the adjusting unit (96) for pivoting the disk brush (26) about a swivel axis (144) that is at an angle to the axis of rotation (86).
