Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Verfahren zur Bearbeitung von Oberflächen eines Bauteils, bei welchem die zu bearbeitende Oberfläche von einem Schleiffluid umströmt wird, das aus einem Fluid mit darin enthaltenen Schleifpartikeln gebildet ist, wobei das Schleiffluid (3) weitgehend ortsfest angeordnet ist und das zu bearbeitende Bauteil (4) relativ zum Schleiffluid bewegt wird sowie eine entsprechende Vorrichtung zur Durchführung eines derartigen Verfahrens.
