[origin: EP2722178A1] The device (1) has an actuator (8) having a set of parts (125, 127), where one part is movable relative to another part in one mode of operation. The actuator is adapted to be supported on a chassis (27) by one part and is capable of moving a print head (7) from an operating position to a maintenance position by movement of another part. The actuator is supported on the chassis by another part in another mode of operation and is capable of moving an object holder module (5) along a direction of pressing relative to the chassis by movement of the former part.
