Abstract (en)
A safety device (1) for a container having a screw-on closure (3) comprises a cylindrical cap (4) having an axial direction (A) and radial directions (R) perpendicular to the axial direction (A). The cap (4) comprises fastening means for fastening the cap (4) on the screw-on closure (3) and closure engagement means arranged to interact with the screw-on closure (3), wherein the cap (4) is arranged to assume a neutral position and an operational position when fastened to the closure (3) and wherein interaction between the closure engagement means and the screw-on closure (3) is disabled in the neutral position and enabled in the operational position.
