[origin: EP2722615A1] The evaporator (2) has a set of end plates (42, 44), and a set of deflectors (14inf, 14sup) for a fluid i.e. pure water, circulating in a shell (4) between an inlet nozzle (8a), and an output nozzle (8b). A set of parallel baffles (12) is provided in the set of end plates, and a fluid circulation path is provided between the inlet and outlet nozzles, where the fluid circulation path is delimited by the set of baffles. Each baffle includes an opening (120) connecting two portions (14inf1-14inf4, 14sup2-14sup4) for passage of quantity of polymerized resin located on both sides of the baffles. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an evaporator.
