[origin: WO2012175794A2] Invention relates to a supercharging system for an internal combustion piston engine (100) comprising a turbocharger unit (101) having a compressor part (102) and a turbine part (103) mechanically connected with each other, and a gas flow system connecting the compressor part (102) and the turbine part (103) of turbocharger unit (101) with the engine, which gas flow system comprises at least one fluid flow control device arranged to control the flow of gas between the compressor part (102), the turbine part (103) and the engine (100). At least one fluid flow control device (22) comprises at least two parallel valve units (22.1 - 22. N) each having two operational positions.
