Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2724645A1] The device (1) has a lighting unit comprising a set of light sources (30) on one of side faces (18) of a parallelepiped box (10). A second set of light sources is connected with an electronic control and command unit to control lighting and extinction frequency of the latter set of light sources according to a predetermined/random sequence in order to create flickering effect of an object placed in the box. A surface lighting slab (40) is provided on another face of the box to diffuse homogeneous light on entire surface of the slab to prevent occurrence of shadow areas on the object. The light sources are LEDs.
