Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2725172A2] The method involves detecting operation of an emergency stop switch by an emergency switching device (26), and transmitting actuation of the emergency stop switch indicative of a signal by the emergency switching device through a data bus (28) to locking units. The signal is received and detected by the locking units. The door is unlocked by the locking units, where the locking units fail to meet a predetermined time period after detecting the signal prior to unlocking a door. An independent claim is also included for an emergency route arrangement.
