[origin: EP2725659A1] The socket (100) has a connector housing (1) having a cable-side bore (3) for receiving end of outer conductor (31) of a coaxial cable (30) and a plug-side bore (5) for receiving an insulating material support (10). An inner conductor (32) of cable is received by cable-side bore (21) of connector inner conductor (20), and an inner conductor bore (11) of material support. The cable-side bore of connector housing is connected with plug-side bore through a through-bore (4). The connector inner conductor has a radial solder receiving bore (23) for receiving a solder deposit (24). An independent claim is included for method for forming solder connection of inner conductor of coaxial cable to connector inner conductor of coaxial cable socket.
