Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013006113A1] A pair of reusable pants giving the appearance and sensation of e.g. a pair of ordinary pajama pants, for comfortable, safe and discrete handling of the problem of uncontrolled or involuntary discharge of urine. This is achieved by a pair of full length pants, having an inner absorbent material covering the full length of the pants. An impermeable layer keeps the urine from leaking through the pants and the permeable outer layer gives the appearance of a pair of ordinary pajama pants. The sealing at the waist and ankles is achieved by using hydrophobic, elastic cuffs, which extend below where they are visible at the waistline and above the line where they are visible at the ankles. This allows for creating an envelope of the impermeable middle layer and the hydrophobic cuff, where excessive amounts of urine can be collected and kept from leaking into the bed.
