[origin: WO2013004519A1] The invention relates to a heatable hair styling device (1), comprising a first arm (2) and a second arm (3), which can be moved counter to one another enclosing hair to be styled in between, wherein at least the first arm (2) is provided with a heatable plate (4) for heating hair to be styled, along which plate the hair can be moved in a pull-through direction (D) to be styled, and at least one pulling element (6), which is arranged next to the heatable plate (4), for exerting a pulling force on the hair to be styled. The pulling element (6) is arranged such that hair moved in the pull-through direction (D) is moved over the pulling element (6) in front of and/or behind the heatable plate (4).
