Abstract (en)
The cell (1) comprises a water-jet cutting nozzle (6), a nozzle movement and orientation unit (5), and a fixing unit (8) for fixing of the light metal castings. The nozzle movement and orientation unit is equipped with multiple independently movable elements for moving the nozzle for gripping and holding the light metal castings. The nozzle movement and orientation unit is operated by a control unit. An inlet (3) and an outlet (4) are provided for introducing or removing the light metal castings into a closed cell (2). An independent claim is included for a method for removing the cores of the light metal castings.
Abstract (de)
Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (1) zur Entkernung von Gussteilen (G), insbesondere Leichtmetall-Gussteilen, umfassend eine Wasserstrahl-Schneiddüse (6) und eine Einheit (5) zur Bewegung und Ausrichtung der Wasserstrahl-Schneiddüse (6). Die Vorrichtung ist vorzugsweise als abgeschlossene Entkernungszelle ausgestaltet. Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft weiterhin ein zur Entkernung von Gussteilen (G), insbesondere Leichtmetall-Gussteilen, gekennzeichnet durch den Schritt der Behandlung eines Gussteils (G) mit einem Wasserstrahl, welcher aus einer Wasserstrahl-Schneiddüse (6) auf das Gussteil geführt wird.
