The element (1) has a first vertical sidewall forming a right angle with each other, where inner surfaces of the first sidewall form the right angle and outer surfaces or sides of the first sidewall form an outer angle of the right angle. A horizontal connecting element extends from the first sidewall to a second sidewall, where the second sidewall faces one of the outer sides of the first sidewall and an outer tip of the right angle formed by the first sidewall. The connecting element extends horizontally from the outer surfaces of the first sidewall to the second sidewall. The connecting element is constructed as a spacer. An independent claim is also included for a stacked cuboid container system.

Ein Fixierelement (1) zur Ausrichtung vertikal gestapelter quaderförmiger Behälter weist erste und zweite vertikale Seitenwände (2, 3) und ein Verbindungselement (4) auf, wobei die ersten Seitenwände (2) rechtwinklig zueinander stehen und die zweiten Seitenwände (3) den äusseren Seiten der ersten Seitenwände (2) zugewandt sind. Das Fixierelement (1) lässt sich formschlüssig auf die Ecken eines Behälters befestigen, wobei ein weiterer Behälter auf das Fixierelement (1) angeordnet wird und relativ zum ersten Behälter in seiner horizontalen Position fixiert ist. Das Fixierelement lässt sich leicht wieder lösen und wieder verwenden. Es ist auch eine Ausführung offenbart mit einem Verbindungselement als Abstandhalter, wodurch eine Beabstandung von zwei Behältern erreicht wird. Werden zwei Behälter so mit ihren oberen offenen Seite zueinander gestapelt, kann ein dritter Behälter darin verstaut werden.
