[origin: EP2728677A1] The system has a case (10) provided with housing (33), and a locking ring (20) with a notched wall (22) locked at an end of the case. A spring (31) is housed in the orifice, and a ball (32) is partially installed in the orifice above the spring. The spring, made of a shape-memory material, assumes elastic state to allow movement of the ball in the orifice when environmental temperature is less than or equal to critical temperature of the material or hardened state to prevent movement of the ball when the temperature is greater than the critical temperature. An independent claim is also included for a connector assembly.
