The device has a conveyor device (20) for moving a smoking article (10) along a conveying direction (X), cutting devices (70,70'73), discharge devices to remove a smoking article portion and an ejector (80) for removing a body (16) of a filter (14) of the smoking article. The conveyor device is designed as an endless conveyor belt (25) having multiple receptacles (52) for smoking articles. The cutting device cuts the filter of the smoking article along its cross-section, particularly vertically to the conveying direction of the conveying device. An independent claim is included for a method for recovery of smoking article portions from smoking articles.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Vorrichtung zur Rückgewinnung von Rauchartikelteilen aus Rauchartikeln mit einer Fördervorrichtung 20 zum Bewegen von Rauchartikeln 10 entlang einer Förderrichtung X, mit wenigstens einer Schneidevorrichtung 55, 70; und wenigstens einer Ausschleusvorrichtung 35, 36, 57, 73 zum Entfernen eines Rauchartikelteiles 14, 77 und/oder einer Ausstoßvorrichtung 80 für im Filter 14 befindliche Körper 16 wie Aromakugeln bereitgestellt. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Rückgewinnung von Rauchartikelteilen aus Rauchartikeln, aufweisend die folgenden Verfahrensschritte: Fördern 101 von Rauchartikeln 10 in einer Fördervorrichtung 20 zu wenigstens einer Schneidevorrichtung 55, 70; Schneiden eines Filters 14 eines Rauchartikels 10; Entfernen von Rauchartikelteilen vorzugsweise Filterabschnitten mittels einer Ausschleusvorrichtung 35, 36, 57, 73 und/oder Entfernen eines Körpers aus dem Filter mittels einer Ausstoßvorrichtung 80.
