Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2730478A2] The rail vehicle has a passenger entrance-exit area which is equipped with a lift platform (2) for persons with reduced mobility. The lift platform is movable between a floor level in passenger entrance-exit area and a given station platform level. The lowering of the lift platform on the station platform level is requested by an actuating device on an outer side of a vehicle door. The lift platform is movable on the floor level after detection of an enable signal.
