Abstract (en)
A scaffolding comprises upright elements (100) which are placed at regular distances from each other and which extend in height direction for receiving successive scaffold sections one above another therebetween. The scaffolding is provided with a guard rail having at least one guard rail element (1). Said guard rail element extends diagonally between said successive upright elements. The guard rail comprises locking means at one end and coupling means (21) at the other end for a releasable connection to an upright element. Said locking means comprise a hook (23) which, in a first diagonal position of the guard rail element can be placed laterally round one of the upright elements and, in a second diagonal position engages in locking manner round said upright element, wherein the guard rail is locked in the second diagonal position of the guard rail element.
