[origin: EP2730727A2] The cylinder (1) has a cylinder core (3) rotatable in a lock cylinder module (27), and a safety bolt (12) for blocking a core extension (11) formed at the core during interruption of the cylinder module. The safety bolt is arranged at a scanner unit (34) in the cylinder module, and has a scanning pin (10) for scanning position of the cylinder module and a locking bolt (20) for blocking the core extension. The cylinder module has a housing part (2b), and the scanner unit has a housing extension (7) that accommodates the safety bolt, where the core extension has a coupling extension (13).
