Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2730880A1] The heat exchanger (W) has a flow channel through which medium (I,II) is flown respectively and is formed between pair of plates (P) that are interconnected with panels (E) that are formed of plastic. The pairs of plates are interconnected to form a plate stack (S). The pairs of plates and the plate stack are laser-welded together. The plate stack and/or the pair of plate are laser welded together along two opposing longitudinal edges. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing plate heat exchanger.
