[origin: WO2013007902A1] The invention relates to a fire extinguishing device for a security system, said fire extinguishing device comprising: an extinguisher support arranged in such a way as to support an extinguisher for putting out a fire; an interface arranged in such a way as to connect the fire extinguishing device to a management device of the security system by means of at least one wireless connection; supply means for enabling the power supply of the fire extinguishing device from a supply source; communication control means for detecting the absence of communication with the management device over a pre-determined period of time; and signalling means for automatically signalling said absence of communication on the fire extinguishing device.
