[origin: WO2012172020A2] The invention relates to a filter element (6) for a filter device (2) for filtering a fluid, having an annular filter body (10) made from a web-shaped folded filter material (13) enclosing an inner space (14) in the circumferential direction and having an inner frame (15) disposed on an inner side of the filter body (10) facing the inner space (14). For simpler assembly, the inner frame (15) can comprise at least one alignment bar (16) that protrudes outward, extends axially and is disposed in the circumferential direction between two adjacent folds (17; 18) of the filter material (13) and contacting same.
