Abstract (en)
The double-decker vehicle (1) has a lower deck (10), an upper deck (20) and an access door (2). Each deck includes several seats for passengers. The access door is provided with an access step. An upper circulation system (4) is provided to join the access step to the upper deck and provided with two sloping circulation paths. The first circulation path is provided to connect the access step to an intermediate landing. The second circulation path is provided to connect the intermediate landing to the upper deck.

Un véhicule étagé (1) pour matériel roulant ferroviaire de transport de voyageurs comprend au moins : - une plateforme inférieure (10) et une plateforme supérieure (20), chaque plateforme (10, 20) comportant une pluralité de sièges (S) pour voyageurs, et - au moins une porte d'accès (2) avec un seuil d'accès (3). Selon l'invention, ledit véhicule (1) comprend en outre un chemin de circulation (4) reliant le seuil d'accès (3) à la plateforme supérieure (20) et comportant au moins deux voies de circulation inclinées (41, 42) pour permettre l'accès de personnes à mobilité réduite à la plateforme supérieure (20).
