Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2733296A2] The element has a stick frame assembly in an opening of a building, and a shadowing unit (1) shadowing the opening of the building. A drive (2) is coupled with the shadowing unit, and a controlling unit (5) activates the drive in dependence of temperature of an accumulator (3). A temperature sensor (4) is arranged in a hollow chamber within the element. A wing is movably stored at the stick frame, and the temperature sensor is arranged in a hollow chamber within the wing. An accumulator (3) provides the drive with power supply. An independent claim is also included for a method for shading a building opening.
