[origin: WO2013013965A1] The invention specifies a hair-shaping appliance which comprises two arms (1) connected to one another via an articulation, wherein at least one of the arms (1) comprises at least one heating part (21), with n heating zones (2) for heating and shaping hair, and at least one cooling part (31), with m cooling zones (3) for cooling the hair, wherein n and m are each a whole number greater than or equal to 1. The n heating zones (2) and m cooling zones (3) are provided, at least in certain regions, in a parallel arrangement one beside the other on the at least one arm (1). The parallel arrangement terminates at both ends with one of the m cooling zones (3).
