[origin: WO2013011237A1] The invention relates to household linen article for a double bed, including two elongate panels (2, 3), which are connected at at least one so-called foot region (Rp) to be placed at the foot of the bed, which are free relative to one another along the majority of the length thereof up until a head edge (Bt) located opposite the foot region (Rp), and which partially overlap at a median longitudinal region (Rm) of the linen article, such that the width of the linen article (lI) is less than the sum of the widths (lp) of the two panels (2,3), the median region extending between the foot region (Rp) and the head edges (Bt), characterised in that each overlapping area (Rc) of each panel (2, 3) is separated from the foot region by a slit (15) that is substantially transverse to a median longitudinal axis (M) of the household linen article.
