[origin: WO2013010821A1] The invention is based on a device for the articulated connection of a wiper blade (10) of flat bar construction to a wiper arm (30) according to the side lock principle, wherein a bearing pin (38) which protrudes laterally on the wiper arm (30) and runs transversely with respect to the longitudinal direction is mounted pivotably in a connecting element (16) which is fastened to the wiper blade (10) and, on the side facing the wiper arm (30), has a retaining finger (24) which, offset towards the drive-side end of the wiper blade (10), is connected to the connecting element (16) at a lateral distance therefrom via a web (28) and, from the side facing a wiper strip (12), engages in the wiper arm (30). It is proposed that the retaining finger (24) has a lug (26) which protrudes in relation to the end side thereof which faces the bearing pin (38) and has a stop surface (56) which points towards the wiper strip (12) and interacts with a further stop surface (54) which lies in the pivoting range relative to the wiper arm (30) and is provided on the wiper arm (30), wherein, in the operating position of the wiper blade (10), the two stop surfaces (54, 56) enclose a pivoting angle (a) therebetween, within the range of which removal or installation is not possible in the direction of the bearing pin (38).
