[origin: WO2013010617A1] The invention relates to a turbine for an exhaust-gas turbocharger of an internal combustion engine, having a turbine housing (14) which delimits a receiving chamber (18) at least in regions, in which receiving chamber a turbine wheel (20) can be accommodated so as to be rotatable about an axis of rotation (22) and to which receiving chamber exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine can be supplied via at least one flow duct (38), in which at least one flow duct is arranged at least one guide blade (72) which is movable relative to the turbine housing (14) and which at least one flow duct is delimited in the axial direction of the receiving chamber (18) at least in regions by at least one wall part (70), which is arranged so as to overlap the guide blade (72) at least in regions, of the turbine (12). According to the invention, the wall part (70) has at least one first wall region (80) which is arranged so as to overlap the guide blade (72) at least in regions and which is recessed in relation to at least one second wall region (82), which adjoins the first wall region (80), of the wall part (70).
