Abstract (en)
The box (10) has a retaining area (12) for accommodating valuable notes, and a memory element (20) for storing data with information about manipulation tests. A control unit (18) stores the data with information in the memory element and releases a validation unit (14) in an activated operating mode of the box. The control unit does not store the data in the memory element in a deactivated operating mode. The control unit stores the data with information in the memory element and does not releases the validation unit in a monitoring operating mode of the box.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Geldkassette (10), die eine Aufnahmebereich (12) zur Aufnahme von Wertscheinen, eine Entwertungseinheit (14) zum Entwerten der Wertscheine, eine Sensoreinheit (16) zur Detektion von Manipulationsversuchen, ein Speicherelement (20) zur Speicherung von Daten mit Informationen über Manipulationsversuche und eine Steuereinheit (18) umfasst. In einem aktivierten Betriebsmodus speichert die Steuereinheit (18) bei einem Manipulationsversuch Daten hierüber in dem Speicherelement (20) und löst die Entwertungseinheit (14) aus. In einem deaktivierten Betriebsmodus dagegen löst die Steuereinheit (18) die Entwertungseinheit (14) nicht aus und speichert auch keine Daten in dem Speicherelement (20). In einem überwachenden Betriebsmodus speichert die Steuereinheit (18) bei der Detektion eines Manipulationsversuches Daten mit Informationen hierüber in dem Speicherelement (20) aber löst die Entwertungseinheit (14) nicht aus.
