Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2736023A1] The box (10) has a retaining area (12) for accommodating valuable notes, and a memory element (20) for storing data with information about manipulation tests. A control unit (18) stores the data with information in the memory element and releases a validation unit (14) in an activated operating mode of the box. The control unit does not store the data in the memory element in a deactivated operating mode. The control unit stores the data with information in the memory element and does not releases the validation unit in a monitoring operating mode of the box.
