[origin: WO2013013920A1] The invention relates to a vehicle axle, in particular a twist-beam axle for an electric vehicle, comprising at least one trailing arm, on which is arranged a drive unit which is located in the vicinity of a wheel and has an electric motor and a gear unit, wherein the wheel-vicinity drive unit has at least one supply line, and at least one damper, wherein the wheel-vicinity drive unit is designed, at least in part, as a trailing arm, and wherein the damper has at least one side connected, at least by a single-shear connection, to the drive unit and can have the at least other side connected to a body of the electric vehicle. The invention likewise relates to a motor vehicle having at least one axle.
