[origin: WO2013017531A1] A method for producing an electrical component comprises providing a ceramic semiconducting base body (10) with a surface (O10) and a first side face (S10a) opposite the surface (O10), wherein a metal layer (40) is contained within the base body. Once at least two further metal layers (210) are arranged separately from one another on the side face (S10a) of the base body, sintering of the arrangement is performed. An electrically insulating layer (30) is arranged between the at least two further metal layers (210). In each case one contact layer (220) is arranged on the metal layers (210) by means of a chemical process. Furthermore, the material of the base body (10) is removed, starting from the surface (O10) of the base body (10) up to at most the metal layer (40) arranged within the base body.
