Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2738011A2] The perfect binder (1) has multiple machining stations (5), two transport clamps (11,12,13) for the transport of book blocks (100) and one guide track (3), on which the transport clamps are rotated and pass through the machining stations. Each drive having an endless circulating traction unit (21) is associated with respective transport clamps. The respective transport clamp is connected with the traction unit, where the drives are independent of each other. A machine control unit (6) is provided for independently controlling the drives.
