Abstract (en)
The method involves conveying web such as spunbond textile (1) on a transport surface (8) and then over a rotating transfer roller (4) at a downstream end of the transport surface. The web is transferred from the transfer roller to a rotating treatment roller or calendar roller (5,6) spaced from the transfer roller in the travel direction of the web. The speed of the conveying of the web and spacing of treatment roller from the transfer roller is set, such that the web wraps around the transfer roller over wrap angle of 15[deg] to 90[deg] . Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an apparatus for conveying and treating web; and (2) a method for operating apparatus for conveying and treating web.

Verfahren zum Transport und zur Behandlung einer Warenbahn, wobei die Warenbahn zunächst über eine Transportfläche und danach über eine am Ende der Transportfläche angeordnete rotierende Übergabewalze transportiert wird. Die Warenbahn wird von der Übergabewalze an eine mit Abstand zu der Übergabewalze angeordnete Behandlungswalze übergeben. Der Transport der Warenbahn wird mit der Maßgabe durchgeführt und insbesondere der Abstand a zwischen der Übergabewalze und der Behandlungswalze wird mit der Maßgabe eingestellt, dass die Warenbahn die Übergabewalze mit einem Umschlingungswinkel ± von 15° bis 90° umschlingt.
