Abstract (en)

A pintle element (1) and a seat holder insert (11) for an embedded hinge (2) for reversible doors comprising a frame, formed of one cross-member (3) and a pair of uprights (4), and at least one panel (5). The pintle element (81) being suitable for being fitted at one end of the uptight (4) and comprising: - a pin (6) extending in a longitudinal direction in relation to the panel (5), - a support plug (7) of the pin (6) extending perpendicular to the axis of the pin (6), characterised in that it further comprises an appendage (8) formed of at least one first abutment surface (9) on an upright (4), suitable for preventing translations of the pintle element (1) in an orthogonal direction during assembly, a second abutment surface (10) on the same upright (4), suitable for preventing translations of the pintle element (1) in a transversal direction during assembly, and a third abutment surface (21) on the cross-member (3)suitable for preventing translations of the pintle element (1) in a longitudinal direction during assembly. A method of fitting reversible doors with embedded hinge (2) is also illustrated.
