Abstract (en)

The overvoltage protection arrangement has a disc-shaped varistor (2) that is electrically connected with a cavity which is provided in a housing portion (1). The housing portion is formed in multi-sided prism shape, cube shape, parallelepiped shape or tetrahedron shape. The housing portion is provided with an aperture for the introduction of several disc-shaped varistors which are connected to a section of the housing side inner wall in mechanical connection manner.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Überspannungsschutzanordnung mit scheibenförmigem Varistor, welcher innerhalb eines, einen Hohlraum einschließenden Gehäuses angeordnet und elektrisch kontaktiert ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist das Gehäuse als Vieleckkörper, insbesondere mehrseitiges Prisma, Würfel, Quader oder Tetraeder ausgebildet und weist eine Öffnung zum Einbringen mehrerer scheibenförmiger Varistoren auf, welche jeweils mit einem Abschnitt oder einem Teil der Gehäuseseiteninnenwandung in mechanischer Verbindung stehen und in Anlage kommen.
