[origin: WO2013020822A1] A dispensing assembly (1) for machines for making infusions in general, particularly espresso coffee, comprising a supporting body (2) which defines a channel (3) for inserting a pod (4) for making an infusion or the like; the insertion channel (3) leads into an infusion assembly (5), which defines a first infusion chamber part (8) and is connected to translation means (9) for moving the infusion assembly (5) against an abutment element (10), which defines a second infusion chamber part (11), and for retaining the pod (4) in an infusion chamber (12) defined by the joining of the first infusion chamber part (8) with the second infusion chamber part (11); the infusion chamber (12) is further connected to at least one dispensing nozzle for dispensing the resulting infusion, the dispensing assembly comprising automatic means (23) for the expulsion of the pod (4) which are provided on each one of the infusion chamber parts (8, 11) for the separation and expulsion of the pod (4) from the infusion chamber parts (8, 11) following the mutual spacing of the infusion chamber parts (8, 11) by way of the translation means (9).
