Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013041332A1] The invention relates to an especially efficient and versatile method for operating a track-side device for track-bound traffic. According to the invention, the method operates in a manner such that data from at least one transponder (e.g. 13) integrated in a glove (10) of an operating person can be read by a track-side device, wherein the at least one transponder (13) is authenticated by the track-side device on the basis of the data that is read and, in the case of successful authentication by the track-side device, an operational function is triggered on the basis of the data that is read. The invention additionally relates to a track-side device for track-bound traffic.
