To this end, a tubular element (1) is arranged within the pipeline, in which element at least one closing flap (2, 3) is fixed such that it can pivot and, in the event that an explosive pressure occurs, changes to a closed position and lies against a sealing stop (12, 13) in the tubular element (1). The invention is characterized in that the tubular element (1) contains an inlet opening (6) having a first closing flap (2) and an outlet opening (7) spaced apart axially having an axially opposite second closing flap (3). In the delivery state, the two closing flaps (2, 3) are fixed in such a way in that they lie against each other at the opposite closing edges (5) thereof, such that said flaps form a continuous side wall of the tubular element (1) and, inclined slightly obliquely at an obtuse angle in relation to each other, project into the axial flow area of the tubular element (1) and, in the event of an increase in pressure caused by an explosion, the closing flap (2, 3) lying closest to the location of the explosion is pivoted in the outward direction and the other closing flap (2, 3) is pivoted in the direction of the inner pipe toward the closed position against a stop (12, 13).
