Abstract (en)
The method involves placing a slide sleeve (4) around circumference of a stack of goods (2). An upper edge (5) of the stack of goods protruding to projection portions (6) of the slide sleeve is folded to a top side (3) of the stack of goods. A cover film sheet (7) is arranged on the top side of the stack of goods. The upper edge of the stack of goods is protruded along the film sheet and film portions (8). A plate (10) is pressed on the top side of the stack of goods. Hot air is produced along sides of the stack of goods and the film portions. Sides of stack of the slide sleeve are welded. An independent claim is also included for a device for applying a film on stack of goods.

Verfahren zum Aufbringen bzw. Aufschrumpfen einer Folie (1) auf einen Gutstapel (2), wobei zunächst eine Folienbanderole (4) um über den Umfang des Gutstapels (2) aneinander anschließende Seiten des Gutstapels (2) gelegt wird. An den Oberkanten (5) des Gutstapels (2) überstehende Überstandsabschnitte (6) der Folienbanderole (4) werden auf die Oberseite des Gutstapels umgefaltet und bevorzugt dort fixiert. Anschließend wird ein Foliendeckblatt (7) auf die Oberseite des Gutstapels aufgelegt, wobei das Foliendeckblatt (7) mit Folienabschnitten über die Oberkanten des Gutstapels vorsteht. Daraufhin wird eine Pressplatte (10) auf die Oberseite des Gutstapels bzw. auf das darauf aufliegende Foliendeckblatt aufgepresst. An den Seiten des Gutstapels wird Heißluft erzeugt, wobei die Heißluft entlang der Seiten des Gutstapels aufsteigt und die vorstehenden Folienabschnitte des Foliendeckblattes mit der Maßgabe erwärmt, dass die Folienabschnitte mit der an den Seiten des Gutstapels anliegenden Folienbanderole verschweißt werden.
