Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2740673A1] The method involves placing a slide sleeve (4) around circumference of a stack of goods (2). An upper edge (5) of the stack of goods protruding to projection portions (6) of the slide sleeve is folded to a top side (3) of the stack of goods. A cover film sheet (7) is arranged on the top side of the stack of goods. The upper edge of the stack of goods is protruded along the film sheet and film portions (8). A plate (10) is pressed on the top side of the stack of goods. Hot air is produced along sides of the stack of goods and the film portions. Sides of stack of the slide sleeve are welded. An independent claim is also included for a device for applying a film on stack of goods.
