Abstract (en)
[Abstract] A motor that is used for a fan has a base section having a circuit board disposition portion, a circuit board disposed on the lower surface of the circuit board disposition portion, and a flow guide plate that is disposed above the circuit board disposition portion. Further, the motor has a first opening and a third opening making the inside of the motor and the outside of the motor communicate with each other. The flow guide plate has a flat plate portion axially overlapping at least a portion of the circuit board disposition portion. The flow guide plate has a second opening making a first space above the base section and below the flow guide plate and a second space above the flow guide plate communicate with each other. When an air current is created between the first opening and the third opening, an air current entering the first opening from the outside of the motor is guided by the flow guide plate and advances along the upper surface of the circuit board disposition portion of the base section. Heat generated from the circuit board is transferred from the lower surface to the upper surface of the circuit board disposition portion and dissipated by the air current. As a result, the heat generated from the circuit board can be efficiently dissipated.
