[origin: EP2742823A1] The furniture fitting has housing (1) that is displaceably guided with a first plate (3) and a second plate (4), such that the two sliding plates are detected in predetermined positions. The first plate and second plate facing one another, are cooperated with each other and are placed in the shelves (17,18). The second plate is adjusted over the shelves to the movement direction of the first plate upon displacement of the first plate. The second plate is formed on the side facing away from the first plate, and is provided to carry a rack (5). An independent claim is included for a furniture such as table.
