The valve has a valve body including a valve shaft (2) extending along axial valve shaft axles (A). A valve disk (3) is connected to the valve shaft and moved in an axial direction away from the valve shaft. A base surface (31) is formed between the valve disk and valve shaft orthogonally to the valve shaft axles, and a valve seat surface (32) is formed at the valve disk. A recess (4) in the form of a coating trough (41) is formed in the base surface. An anti-corrosive coating (5) in the form of a corrosion protection layer (51) is provided on the recess. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a gas shuttle valve.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Gaswechselventil (1) für eine Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine, insbesondere ein Auslassventil für einen längsgespülten Zweitakt-Grossdieselmotor, wobei das Gaswechselventil (1) einen Ventilkörper mit einem sich entlang einer axialen Ventilschaftachse (A) erstreckenden Ventilschaft (2), sowie einen sich an den Ventilschaft (2) anschliessenden Ventilteller (3) umfasst, der sich in axialer Richtung vom Ventilschaft (2) weg, und in Bezug auf die Ventilschaftachse (A) radial erweiternd nach aussen erstreckt. Dabei ist zwischen einer im wesentlichen orthogonal zur Ventilschaftachse (A) ausgebildeten Fussfläche (31) des Ventiltellers (3) und dem Ventilschaft (2) eine Ventilsitzfläche (32) am Ventilteller (3) ausgebildet. Erfindungsgemäss ist in der Fussfläche (31) des Ventiltellers (3) eine Ausnehmung (4) in Form einer ersten Beschichtungsmulde (41) vorgesehen, in welcher eine Korrosionsschutzbeschichtung (5) in Form einer ersten Korrosionsschutzschicht (51) vorgesehen ist. Des weiteren betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Gaswechselventils (1).
