[origin: WO2013023879A1] The invention relates to a windscreen wiper device, especially for a motor vehicle. Said windscreen wiper device comprises a wiper motor which drives a wiper linkage by means of an output shaft, said wiper linkage comprising at least one joint rod actuating a wiper arm, ball sockets being provided at the distal ends of the joint rod. According to the invention, the joint rod has a fastening region for the ball sockets which is flattened and said ball sockets are or can be immobilized on the flattened fastening regions by means of at least one fastening element.
