Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2013023825A1] The invention relates to a valve for dosing a flowing, for example gaseous or liquid, medium, in particular to a fuel injection valve for combustion engines, which comprises a valve housing (11) having an inlet (17) for the medium, a valve body (12) having a dosing opening (13) for the medium, a joining site (18) between the valve housing (11) and the valve body (12), and a gasket (20) which seals the joining site (18). To ensure a reliable and tear resistant gasket (20), in which the material of the valve housing (11) and of the valve body (12) can be freely selected, the gasket (20) comprises a clamping ring (19) which covers the joining site (18), and which rests with force fit on mutually facing end sections of the valve housing (11) and of the valve body (12) on the joining site (18).
