[origin: WO2013024296A1] A container such as a package for retail display comprises a tubular housing (12) having first and second opposed open ends, and a sliding carrier (14) supported in the housing (12). The carrier (14) is movable through the first end of the housing between a retracted position in which a first portion of the carrier is within the housing and a second portion of the carrier protrudes from the second end; and an extended position in which the first portion of the carrier protrudes from the first end and the second portion is within the housing. An insertion stop structure (36, 38) limits movement of the carrier from the extended position upon reaching the retracted position and limits protrusion of the second portion of the carrier from the second end of the housing. A withdrawal stop structure (40, 42) limits movement of the carrier from the retracted position upon reaching the extended position.
