The removal device comprises a receiving surface for receiving the glue, having a first region (27) in which a first portion (31) is formed and a second region (28) in which a second portion (32) is formed for ensuring adequate gluing to the side of a label. The first and second portions are designed such that the glue can adhere much easier in the first portion than in the second portion. The third and fourth portions (33,34) are designed in such a way that the glue can adhere much easier in the third portion than the fourth portion. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a labeling machine; (2) a method for applying glue to a label; and (3) a label.

Es sind eine Entnahmeeinrichtung (25) zur Entnahme von Etiketten (40), ein Etikett und ein Verfahren zum Beleimen eines Etiketts (40) bereitgestellt. Die Entnahmeeinrichtung (25) hat eine Aufnahmefläche (30) zur Aufnahme von Leim (17, 18), die aufweist: einen ersten Bereich (27), in welchem mindestens ein erster Abschnitt (31) an mindestens einem zweiten Abschnitt (32) angeordnet ist zur Gewährleistung einer ausreichenden Beleimung einer zu beleimenden Seite eines Etiketts (40), wobei der erste und zweite Abschnitt (31, 32) derart ausgestaltet sind, dass Leim (17, 18) in dem ersten Abschnitt (31) deutlich einfacher anhaften kann als in dem zweiten Abschnitt (32), und mindestens einen zweiten Bereich (28), in welchem ein dritter Abschnitt (33) an einem vierten Abschnitt (34) angeordnet ist zu Informationszwecken der zu beleimenden Seite des Etiketts (40), wobei der dritte und vierte Abschnitt (33, 34) derart ausgestaltet sind, dass Leim (17, 18) in dem dritten Abschnitt (33) deutlich einfacher anhaften kann als in dem vierten Abschnitt (34).
