Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2746466A1] A system (116) for providing hydraulic power to a hydraulic system of a machine allows assigning individual hydraulic pumps (132-140B) to different hydraulic circuits (160-170) of the hydraulic system. The system (116) reduces flow sharing between the different hydraulic circuits (160-170) to avoid pressure drop losses. A plurality of control valves (142-150B) regulate the flow to the different circuits and may be switched to selectively associate one or more hydraulic pumps (132-140B) to a particular hydraulic circuit. The distribution of the pumps may be determined based on priorities of the different hydraulic circuits and the flow required by each circuit. The flow rate for each hydraulic circuit is controlled by the displacement of the associated hydraulic pumps.
