Abstract (en)
The hood (14) has a fan device (16) for sucking the exhaust air from a cooking apparatus (10) with a cooking area (12). A temperature detecting unit (18) detects a temperature of cooking area of the cooking apparatus. The cooking vapor detection units (20,22) detect the cooking vapor in the sucked air sucked by a fan device. A control unit (24) for switching ON the fan device in response to detected temperature and controlling the suction power of the fan device based on the detected cooking vapor in sucked air. An independent claim is included for a method for controlling operation of fume extractor hood.

Eine Dunstabzugshaube (14) weist eine Lüftervorrichtung (16) zum Absaugen von Abluft eines unter der Dunstabzugshaube angeordneten Kochgerätes (10) mit wenigstens einem Kochbereich (12); eine Temperaturerfassungseinrichtung (18) zum Erfassen einer Temperatur wenigstens eines Kochbereichs (12) des Kochgerätes (10); und eine Kochdunsterfassungseinrichtung (20, 22) zum Erfassen von Kochdünsten in der mittels der Lüftervorrichtung (16) abgesaugten Abluft auf. Eine Steuereinrichtung (24) der Dunstabzugshaube (14) ist ausgebildet, um die Lüftervorrichtung (16) in Abhängigkeit von einer durch die Temperaturerfassungseinrichtung (18) erfassten Temperatur einzuschalten und eine Absaugleistung der Lüftervorrichtung (16) in Abhängigkeit von durch die Kochdunsterfassungseinrichtung (20, 22) erfassten Kochdünsten zu steuern.
